Johnny who?

I have to admit, I did not see this coming.  Who needs Johnny football?  Obviously, Texas A&M is in good hands (no pun intended) with Kenny Hill.  He even broke Johnny's single-game passing record piling up 511 yards against the #9 ranked team.  The team picked by most media folks to win the SEC East.  How about that vaunted SEC defense the conference always claim?  I'm really curious to see how the SEC homers spin this one.

Texas A&M vs. South Carolina Highlights  after the jump

Ever since A&M has come into the SEC, they have been putting HUGE offensive numbers against the better defensive teams in the SEC.  I know they also lost games too, but how many teams have gone into Tuscaloosa and put up over 400 yards against a Nick Saban defense and won?  The same can be said for tonight.  South Carolina was supposed to have a great defense and they gave up 511 yards passing at HOME to A&M and lost by 24 points.  Adding in the rushing, the total yards for A&M was 680.  Yes, you read that right, 680 yards against a top-ranked SEC defense on their home field.  Now the Aggies gave up a lot of yards too, but we all expected that.  We knew A&M's defense was horrible last year and this year was supposed to be even worse.  How embarrassing for the SEC with their inaugural live game on their new network.  It looked like an old WAC game from the 80's, all offense and no defense.
